Our approach
We support students in contacting their representatives, including facilitating trips to legislative meetings and hearings at the Capitol. We help students find information about the policy changes being proposed to the issues they care about. This helps students gain valuable insights and experience into the workings of the state legislature, as well as teaching vital communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

The Student Advocacy Alliance is made up entirely of high school students dedicated to creating opportunities for civic engagement. We make it our goal to bring those with the power to make change to the same places as those that change will affect.
